Zimasco has a full fledged, well equipped and staffed Health Services Department that provides quality and comprehensive health services to employees, employee dependents and the communities in which we operate.  Chrome Mine Hospital in Shurugwi provides specialist, surgical, pharmaceutical radiological, laboratory, in-patient, out-patient, occupational and ambulance services.  It is ably supported by 4 clinics  strategically located in Shurugwi, Kwekwe, Lalapanzi and Mutorashanga.

The Company has a Medically Affected Employee Programme in place catering for, among other life threatening diseases, HIV/AIDS.  With particular focus on AIDS-affected orphans, Zimasco annually assists  various charities in and around its various operations.
