Product quality is a matter of pride for Zimasco.  The company’s Quality Management System has been ISO  9001 : 2000 certified since 1992 through Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA – 1992 to 2006) and South African Bureau of Standards (SABS – 2006 to date).   Subsequently, Zimasco was audited in September 2009 and successfully migrated from ISO 9001 : 2000 to ISO 9001 : 2008.

Our Company Quality Policy And Philosophy

In recognition of the importance we attach to our customers, we in Zimasco (Private) Limited are committing ourselves to Total Quality Management in pursuit of mutual value creation in all our endeavours.

Measurable performance objectives and targets shall be set and reviewed periodically to ensure continuous improvement .  This will lead to the fulfillment of both organizational values and customer requirements.  We assure our customers, internal and external, that we will provide them with consistent, quality high carbon ferrochrome products and matching service.

We have adopted EN ISO9001 : 2008 and its successors as the basis of our Quality Management System.

Our Quality Assurance Programme will run with our well established Safety, Health and Environment Programme.  This is designed to achieve an integrated and well managed approach to effectively run the business in terms of SAFETY, QUALITY AND PRODUCTION.

All our employees will be educated and trained to understand the philosophy and use the tools of statistical process control in our endeavour to travel towards mutual value creation.
